OUT & UP Productions LLC (“OUT & UP TV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) produces OUT & UP, a reality series filmed in New Jersey. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.outanduptv.com, our forms, text messages, and emails, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on our website, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number, email address, age, and county or city.
- For casting applications: where you are coming home from, your release date, parole or probation status, living situation, information about your children and any DCPP (child protection) case, your goals, your business idea, your story, and any video link you share.
- If you refer someone, your name and contact information and the information you share about her.
- Your choices about receiving text messages and emails.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and form provider may collect basic technical information such as your browser type, device, IP address, pages visited, and cookies used to make the site and forms work.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To review casting applications and contact applicants and referrers about the show.
- To send updates you asked for, such as the trailer, premiere date, and behind-the-scenes news.
- To answer your questions and messages.
- To run, protect, and improve our website and communications.
- To meet legal requirements.
3. Sensitive Information
Casting applications may include personal details about incarceration, treatment, family, and children. We treat this information as confidential. Only members of the OUT & UP casting and production team who need it to review applications can see it. We never sell it, and we never publish it or show it on camera without your separate, written permission.
4. Text Messages (SMS)
If you check a box on our forms agreeing to receive text messages, we may text you about your application, casting, show updates, and the updates you signed up for. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not required to apply.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except with the service providers that deliver our messages for us.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run our website, forms, email, and text messages (for example, our website and CRM platform). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- With our production team and partners (such as a production company or network) only if you are moving forward in casting and only as needed for the show.
- When required by law, such as to respond to a valid court order, or to protect someone’s safety.
6. How Long We Keep It
We keep your information only as long as we need it for casting, production, and the updates you asked for, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see Section 8).
7. How We Protect It
We use reasonable safeguards, including secure, password-protected systems and limited team access. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
- Texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Emails: click “unsubscribe” in any email.
- Access, correct, or delete: email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. New Jersey residents may have additional rights under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act.
9. Children
Our website and casting call are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Information you share about your own children is used only to understand your story and is kept confidential.
10. Links to Other Sites
Our site links to social media and other websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
